Some Refuse crew staff self-isolating following positive Covid Test

One of Ramsey Town Commissioners’ refuse collection teams are self-isolating after a positive Covid-19 test. One member of the team developed symptoms and subsequently tested positive for the virus. The other two crew members in the working “bubble” have been contact-traced, advised to self-isolate, and will also be tested. Due to RTC’s Covid working arrangements at this time no other employees have been required to self-isolate.
Additioanl domestic refuse collection to Ramsey residents

To assist residents during the current lock down an additional domestic refuse collection will be offered to residential properties in Ramsey during the week commencing 22nd March 2021. Ramsey Town Commissioners are to undertake an Expressions of Interest process for the long term use of Ramsey Courthouse following the decision by The Heart of Ramsey Limited to withdraw from their exclusivity agreement. The Heart of Ramsey (THOR), a not-for-profit charitable organisation, entered into a 12 month exclusivity agreement with the Commission in June 2019. Ramsey Quayside Proposals

The Department of Infrastructure's proposals for the reconstruction of the highway and footpaths (including flood defences and social areas) on Ramsey quayside are currently on display at Ramsey Town Hall during normal opening hours (daily 8:45am - 4:30pm & Friday 8:45am - 4:00pm).
