Update regarding the temporary pedestrianisation of Parliament Street

At their monthly Board meeting this evening (17th June 2020) Ramsey Town Commissioners resolved to discontinue the temporary pedestrianisation of Parliament Street with immediate effect.

Temporary Pedestrianisation of Parliament Street Survey

We would like to thank everyone for the co-operation which has been received following the temporary pedestrianisation of Parliament Street which was introduced at the behest of Government on Monday 18th May 2020 to allow the re-opening of non-essential retail and to assist with social distancing. As a result of our analysis of the effectiveness of the operation and the impact on our ratepayers and visitors changes were put in place on 25th May 2020 which reduced the period of closure to 11am...

A public car park is located at the rear of the Town Hall, off West Street, with disabled car park spaces, and bicycle racks.
