Paying your rent

Direct debit

This is the most convenient way to pay your rent. You’ll have peace of mind knowing you won’t ever miss a payment or go into arrears and it will make managing your monthly household finances easier.

You can download a direct debit form here. Once your direct debit is set up we will send you details of payment dates and amounts.

Please return completed, signed Direct Debit forms to the Housng Office at the Town Hall.

Payment can be made using electronic bankiing using the details below:

Reference Number: If you do not know your reference number please contact the Town Hall.

 

In person

You can pay in cash, by cheque or with a debit card at the housing counter.

The housing counter is open as follows:

8.45am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday

8.45am to 3.30pm Friday

 

By post

To pay by post send your cheque payable to Ramsey Town Commissioners, ensuring your name and address are written on the reverse of the cheque. Please do not send cash by post.

If you choose not to pay by direct debit, it is a requirement of your tenancy agreement that your rent be paid weekly on Mondays. You can also pay every two weeks or monthly but only if your account is paid in advance.

If you are leaving the island for any length of time please arrange to pay your rent in advance or for it to be paid in your absence.
