Expression of interest — Mooragh Park shelters art project (final two shelters)
Ten shelters now form the Mooragh Park Shelter Art Project: five are complete and attracting praise from residents, visitors and the local press, three are under way this season, and the last two are ready for an artist’s vision.
Join a project that already pulls footfall and media attention. Your work will sit alongside murals featured on BBC North West, local press and countless social-media feeds, giving you a ready made platform and a guaranteed audience. All shelters will feature on the new Ramsey Art Trail map linking Mooragh Park with the town centre.
For these final shelters we are commissioning a full mural on each, to be painted directly onto the marine-ply panels already fitted inside the structures. The ply is primed and ready to accept exterior acrylics or spray; panel dimensions and a brief technical guide are available on request.
Themes
Artwork should celebrate the park and its users, drawing on one or more of:
• Ramsey / Isle of Man

Ramsey Town Commissioners will lead on fundraising; artists do not need to apply for grants. Offers of private sponsorship are welcome and will be considered on a case by case basis.
