Mooragh Lake and Games Concession and The Boathouse Café
Ramsey Town Commissioners invite suitably qualified and competent parties to apply to be considered for the operation of the following facilities:
The “Mooragh Lake and Games Concession” and “The Boathouse Café”
Both are located within the Mooragh Park and the offered operating period will run from the 1st January 2027 until 31st December 2033.
Mooragh Lake and Games Concession: Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience and competence in the management of sailing, boating and other water-based activities, ideally being Royal Yachting Association and British Canoeing approved. The concession will require the operation the Mooragh Boating Lake during the period between and including the Easter and Manx Grand Prix periods, and to operate the Bowling Green, Crazy Golf and Putting Green concessions, subject to weather conditions during those times. The concession holder will be required to provide and manage all boats, safety equipment and suitable trained and competent staff.
Boathouse Café applicants should be able to demonstrate experience in operating within the hospitality sector. The concession will require operation of the Cafe between and including the Easter and Manx Grand Prix period as a minimum.
Interested parties are invited to submit an Expression of Interest detailing their relevant experience for either the Mooragh Lake and Games Concession, The Boathouse Café Concession or for both concessions.
Expressions of Interest close at 4pm on 29th May 2026.
