Ramsey Town Commissioners are pleased to confirm arrangements for the 2026 Firework display.
Due to a potential issue with transporting the fireworks to the Isle of Man by our contractor we decided to make an early decision to change the date of the annual firework display from 31st October 2026 to 21st November 2026.
The Firework Display will take place in the Mooragh Park at 7.30pm on Saturday 21st November 2026. The music theme for the display is Take That. Entertainment will be provided at the Lakeside Centre at from 6pm.
Our Christmas Light Switch On will take place on Friday 20th November 2026.
This will provide a welcome opportunity to visit Ramsey at the start of the festive period.
Margaret Webb, Lead Member for Parks and Leisure commented:
“We are pleased to be able to confirm a date for our annual firework display.
The Ramsey display is always very popular and this year the fireworks will be accompanied by music associated with Take That.
We made the decision to change the date of our display when our contractor advised of issues transporting the fireworks to the Isle of Man.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to both the Firework Display and Christmas Light Switch On where visitors can visit the largest range of independent retailers on the Isle of Man and vast array of hospitality options. Ramsey offers free car parking and is easily accessible via Bus Vannin for those wishing to use public transport.”
